Sedan, Minivan or Sprinter? How to Choose the Right Car for Your Georgia Tour

Group size is only half the answer. Luggage, mountain roads and how long you’ll spend in the car matter just as much.

Sedan, Minivan or Sprinter? How to Choose the Right Car for Your Georgia Tour

Start with the number of passengers

Our three vehicle classes cover every group: a Sedan for 1–3 passengers, a Minivan for 4–7 and a Mercedes Sprinter-class minibus for 8–18. Each car is private — you never share it with strangers.

Then think about luggage

If you are travelling between cities (for example Tbilisi → Kazbegi → Batumi) with full suitcases, consider moving one class up. Three adults with three large suitcases fit a sedan, but a minivan is noticeably more comfortable.

Long days and mountain roads

Routes like Svaneti or Martvili mean many hours on the road. Extra legroom and higher seating in a minivan make long drives easier — especially for families with children or older travellers.

Groups and celebrations

For weddings, corporate trips and friend groups, a Sprinter keeps everyone together, which is more fun and often cheaper than two separate cars.
